ROSEWOOD, an Educationl Center, was founded by Sheila and Cosmo Civale in January 2000 in Newtown, Connecticut. The basic premise of ROSEWOOD is that is is an educational center without walls that could be used by students, teachers, a pre-service educators. Our resources are open to all without limitations.

In March of 2009, ROSEWOOD, has been given a new appearence and has been repurposed to meet the changing and challenging needs of the educational community without respect to location. It is a person-based website not a place-based facility. This is the educational entity of an expanding effort to address the everchanging needs of a growing, diverse, and technological society. We are currently in that process of development.
